TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK – A THANK YOU FROM ROGER!!

Dear Parents and Staff,

In many ways, schools are more “stretched” than I have seen them throughout my 20+ year career. Kids, families, and even staff have more challenges on their plates than I remember seeing earlier on in my career. Add that to the more polarized political climate and the fact that in many places, schools and school boards are in the crosshairs of some very heated discussions and debates and… well, teaching does, in some ways, feel a little trickier than it did 5 or 10 years ago!

HOWEVER… here at Realms MS and HS, I firmly believe that in many ways, we have it easy!! We have involved and caring parents, we have engaged, thoughtful and respectful students… AND, we have an incredible team of staff members! I want to thank our amazing staff here at Realms…. those who are in their 1st year with us and those in their 21st year with us.. and everyone in between. We have an amazing team and you Teachers, EA’s, Counselors, Office Staff and all the rest of us… you are the ones that make the magic happen. THANK YOU!

AND, to our parents….All of the staff here at Realms want to send a BIG THANK YOU to all of the parent volunteers who helped support an awesome Teacher Appreciation Week this week. We had a killer snack bar on Monday (that we are still slowly tasting our way through), and rolling coffee cart with treats on Wednesday and a MASSIVE lunch spread on Friday for the staff.

Most ao fall, we felt your appreciation and support and for that, we are grateful! Thanks for being CREW alongside us!

Rubbish Renewed – Tickets at the door!!

We’re back! After 2 years of pandemic closures Friends of Realms is hosting the Rubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show for its 11th year, one of the most forward thinking, eco-friendly, fundraising events to witness on May 20^th at the Pavilion!

Through an innovative and inspiring event, the Rubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show educates our community, while raising essential funds for our Realms Schools!

REALMS GEAR STORE – Spring Edition!

We’ve got some fun new items in our Realms Spring Gear store to get your school spirit up and running. All items are available with the Middle School or High School logo. The window for ordering is short! It’s open now and will close on Friday, May 26th. No late orders will be accepted. Orders will be delivered to Realms the first week of June. We will be in touch about a gear pick up for your family!

iPAD ROLL IN

All students at Realms MS and HS will be TURNING IN THEIR iPADS (and their bricks and cords!)at the end of this school year. We will be re-inventorying all of these and will be issuing students new, upgraded iPads next Fall.

iPad Roll In Dates:

Mon June 12th – iPad Roll In 6th – 8th Gr
Tues June 13th – iPad Roll In 9th – 11th Gr

Here is information on the specifics of the CORD AND BRICK that should be returned with the iPad.

If your student does not have the correct cord/brick, the cost is $20 for brick and $10 for cord.

GRADUATION SEASON!

RHS Graduation: We are so excited to mark some big milestones… the biggest of which is the graduation of the Class of 2023.

GRADUATION DETAILS
DATE: Tuesday, June 13
TIME: 7pm – 8pm; Doors open at 630pm Graduates arrive @ 615pm
LOCATION: Realms High School
TICKETS: 6 per student. If you would like to bring more family/guests, no problem, just Jen Rule if you need extra.

RMS Graduation: The transition of students from middle school to high school is one worthy of celebrating. Each year Realms MIddle hosts an event for our 8th graders and their friends and families! We will host this year’s 8th grade graduation the night after the RHS Graduation. 8th grade families and friends, please plan on joining us from 6:00PM – 7:15PM in the cafeteria at Realms!
