This and That:
Staffing: I’m still waiting for permission to hire. Music position should be live very soon (if not already) and hopefully I will be able to hire for kindergarten next week or the following week. Also, a big congratulations to Ali who was hired to teach kindergarten at Warm Spring K-8 next year!!! We will miss you!!
Breakfast!!: Our district hosted staff breakfast will be this next Thursday, May 2 at 8:00. Be sure to come hungry!
Deeper Learning Mini Observation: As I shared at our staff meeting this past week, I will be looking for evidence of “deeper learning” during my last mini observation for the year of classroom teachers. Please follow this link for the form and “look-fors” that I will be using during the observation.
Classroom Movement Plan: I will be sending out a draft of our classroom movement plan a little later this week for your feedback and suggestions.

To Do:
Classroom Teacher Mini Observation Sign-Ups: I would like for all kindergarten and grade 1 teachers to sign-up for a deeper learning mini observation for this coming week here (other grade level teachers are welcome to sign-up for this week as well). I will have two more grade levels the following week and two more the week after that. By that time, I will be done with all mini observations and will begin working on end-of-the-year evaluations. More information on that soon.
Tier 3 Math Intervention Planning for Next Year: Please let me know by the end of this week if you would like to be part of the team that will be determining our math intervention plans for next school year. We will be working with district specialists on June 6th and I will sending you some reading to skim before this date.
Office Placements for Next Year: This coming week, I will be working on office assignments for next year. Please let me know EARLY in the week if you have any thoughts I should consider when making these placements.
