This and That:

2023-2024 Staffing: 

  • I am excited to announce that Lilly Paradis will be our school counselor next year. Lilly is currently a school counselor at Hawthorn Academy in Utah and will be moving to Bend this summer. Lilly has experience starting a comprehensive school counseling program and speaks fluent Spanish. We are fortunate to have her joining our team!

Staff Appreciation Week: Although this week is the official “Teacher Appreciation Week,” we will be celebrating “Staff Appreciation Week” next week. With several staff out due to Camp Tamarack this week, we didn’t want anyone to miss the festivities.

Staff Appreciation Breakfast: The tradition of district staff making breakfast for each school is back, and this Tuesday is our day! Omelets and other breakfast goodies will be served this Tuesday between 7:00-8:00 for all staff in the media center! 🙂

Center for Educational Leadership Training; about 15 administrators will be attending a training at EME on Wednesday in the media center. Lindsey will be in touch with those of you that have media that day to let you know where you will bring your students.

5/19 Events: A couple of events have been added to the calendar on Friday, 5/19. First, it will be a spirit day – super hero day, and second, we will have a short-ish assembly at 8:00 that morning.

Monday Committee Time: In lieu of a staff meeting, our Monday meeting time will be dedicated to committee time. Please check with your committee leader about where you will be meeting.

TLC Update: Here is the May 3rd Elementary TLC Update. The update for this week includes:

  • Thursday: Gr. 5 at Camp Tamarack, Walk and Roll to School,
  • Friday: Gr. 5 returns from Camp Tamarack, Tower Theater hosted movie in the evening,
