This and That:
Staffing:
- Media Manager: Lindsey has made the decision to cut back to 3.5 hours next year. We will be interviewing as soon as possible for the other 3.5 of our media manager position.
- Kindergarten: We have been given permission to hire for two of our kindergarten positions. I hope to have those interviews this week or early the following week.
Kelle This Week: Unfortunately, I will be out all week. My mom had a stroke last week and is still in the ICU (but it’s looking like she might get demoted to a neuro room in the next 24 hours!). I will be with her for at least the next week. Tammy Doty will be at EME on Thursday at about 9:15 and for the remainder of the day to help and is arranging support for the rest of the week. Please feel free to send me a text if you need me for anything. I will be working away while I support my mom.
Art in the Meadow: It’s Art in the Meadow week! Thank you for all of your efforts to make this happen for our community again! Please sign-up to help if you haven’t already done so. See Allison or Heather if you have any questions about the event.
Excellence in Education Awards: We have such an incredible team at Elk Meadow that it is hard to narrow down to one certified and one classified staff member each year for these awards.
- This year, Denise Morrell will be honored as our classified staff member for all of her years of love and dedication to Elk Meadow (and especially our kindergarteners!) Denise is a team player who goes above and beyond her hours and role to serve our community!
- Heather Korman will be honored as our certified staff member for her relentless commitment to Elk Meadow students, staff, and families. Heather has been a huge part of our arts focus and garden, part of our ICCL team, a friend to all, and a kid magnet.
Library Schedule (From Lindsey): May 30th- June 2nd will be the last week to check out books.

RGR EOP (From Liv): Please give your entire class the EOP by June 7th. It is that time of year to give the End of Program assessment to your class. Please see Olivia’s email sent on 5/17 for more details.
2023-2024 Class Lists: Please complete your 2023-2024 class lists and get them turned in to Nicole this week.
