This and That:
10/9 SIW: SIW this week will be for individual time in order to support conference preparation. We will NOT pull together first.
More Conference Information:
- Please provide the office a copy of your conference schedule ASAP so that we are able to field questions for you during your busy conference days.
- Dinner will be provided by our awesome PTO on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday will be Longboard Louies and I believe that Thursday will be sandwiches with a gluten free option available. I will share times as soon as I know them.
- Please plan to make time to share the following during conferences (as appropriate for your grade level):
- Grades K-5: Signed compacts to be completed during conferences (Debbi will be putting these in boxes)
- Grades K-5: Supply money reminder handout (just give to each parent at the end of each conference)
- Grades K-5: Student information update form (please ask each parent to verify their information and return the form to the office. You can provide it at the end of each conference so that it doesn’t take up your conferencing time.
- Grades 4-5: Smarter Balance score reports (Frank can support you with language around this as needed)
- Grades K-1: Dyslexia letter for specific students (Debbi will provide for students that it applies to)

Safety Reminders: With the start of a new school calendar year comes an opportunity to refresh our knowledge of safety resources and protocols. Please take a moment to:
- Locate available phones, radios and/or alert systems for emergency notification throughout the building. NOTE: Sometimes the quickest way to alert others will be through your voice. Remember to first protect yourself so that you can protect those around you and the school. All staff have the authority to call for an emergency protocol response to an incident and to call 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency.
- Notify your staff custodian or building administrator about any potential safety issues.
