Updates, Reminders, Department Info and Rants…
1 hour Secretary – The 1 hour funding of Title IV office staff support has come to an end. That means, when you plan for next year, you will not have that 1 hour additional support available to count on. We know it has often been distributed in early fall, but wanted to give you a heads up now, so you can plan accordingly.
Leah Bibeau in the business office – Please be sure to read the email from me earlier this week regarding digital leave and time sheets for next year. Just know that the paper ones we currently use will be coming to an end.
Year Long Calendar – Never before, have we received a master planning calendar of all the work sessions and PD for next year all in one place and this early. There are some exciting changes to the year, as we gear up our work in growing efficacious school leaders. Note that there will be our traditional elementary leadership/horizontal work sessions (principals, assistant principals, and student services), but there will also be work sessions specific to principals and ones specific to assistant principals/student services as well. Where you see Admin/ ICCL workshops, that will focus on having you and your hired building leadership teams learn all about MTSS and how to lead effective work in those systems in our schools. You will also see our work with CEL tool. The SIW calendar is also on the document, outlining what each Wednesday will be. Report Cards – Just a reminder that if you are a school that still mails report cards they should go out no later than Wednesday of next week. If you are a school that sends them electronically, teachers should send an email to families notifying them when they are complete.

The Red Zone – Things to do or share
School Offices – please remember to post your office hours and office availability. Front offices should be open no later than August 8th. Here are the signs to use for your front door. Make sure these get posted when you leave for summer.
Kids Inc News – If you had to make a decision today about 3 locations for Kids Inc in your building next year, what would your spaces be? There is always a slight possibility that things might change from now until the beginning of the year, but we need to be prepared. Please document them here.
