1st Bit:
All your Private / Home School / BLPO Questions answered and MORE!!!!

Hi all!
Many of you have had questions regarding Private schools, Home schooling, and Bend-La Pine Online.  Here is the information document that I have been working on.  I will update as needed as additional information and questions come in.

You can access the document here*** This link has been updated as of 9/28/2021 ***

Additionally, I will be contacting you soon if you have a student that is either Private or Home Schooled asking about services.  The FAPE letters are now a PWN available in Ad Hoc Docs!  You can complete the information in the PWN and send an email to RCC letting them know it’s ready for review.  They will finalize and send home with Procedural Safeguards to parents.
Let me know if you have any questions!!

Helpful Hints:

Building your teams:
o   Benefits to YOU:

–  You only have to build the team once per semester.  When the semester starts, change only the team members that need to be.  Just a few rather than the entire team.
–  The team tab will populate documents in Synergy: Eligibility Summary, Placement, and IEP. You only need to delete those that didn’t attend-much easier than adding new names.
–  You can list “Teams Tab” on the meeting request, rather than having to type in every name.

o   Benefits to RCC:

–  Pre-populates to Meeting Notice saving time!!!!
–  It’s more consistent from Doc to Doc when reviewing.
–  RCC uses the Team Tab to help with email addresses when using Adobe Sign for signatures

o   How To: Manage the Team Tab

–  Click the link above for all you need to know on adding or removing Team members.
–  ESD staff will need to be added while you are focused to Bend-La Pine Schools
–  Less is better when doing a search.  For example, enter the last name and the first initial.
–  Ask us if you need any help managing your team tab

Thank you,
Tana, Kim, Char, Melissa, Kristi, and Cindy
