Social Emotional Happenings!

Welcome back educators! We hope you all had a restful and rejuvenating summer. Your Student Success Coaches (previously known as Behavior Coaches) are excited to support your Student Success Coordinators and teams in your buildings this year. For those of you who have been hearing about “BRYT” or wondering what the Student Success staff in your school will be doing, here is a quick introduction of our district’s new resource:

BRYT/Student Success is a tier 3 general education intervention (serving students with and without disabilities) that supports their academic, social-emotional and mental health needs. The overall goal of the intervention is to support acutely dysregulated students in achieving successful integration into the regular classroom setting.

Stay tuned for additional details in these weekly updates, and feel free to ask your Student Success Coordinator, Student Success Coach or Administrator for more info!

Technology Happenings!

It is not a current requirement to have K-5 students sign into iCloud. There are benefits to doing so (access to more storage with iCloud, simple Apple Classroom set up, etc.) but again, it’s not required of K-5.

Below are iPad resources that could help as you begin the school year.

  • iPad Ideas for K-5 TeachersGoogle Slides
    • Teachers:  Read more about what you can do during the first days of school to help with iPad management and more.

This info can be shared with families in the event of Targeted Remote Learning or whenever iPads are sent home:
