The Bend Science Station has been a long-time partner of Bend-La Pine Schools and hundreds of our students attend their workshops and classes every year. Unfortunately, during the Covid-19 crisis the Bend Science Station has had to suspend programming. But just because you can’t go to the Science Station doesn’t mean you can’t do science. Check out their #StayAtHomeSTEM series for fun experiments and activities to do at home. Their site would be a great place for teachers to direct their families for additional learning opportunities or to use their activities as connections and extensions to existing lessons and units. If it’s coming from Bend Science Station it’s is sure to be interactive and engaging.
