For Seniors, once they graduate, they will no longer be able to access their Bend-La Pine student accounts. If they want to keep any files, here’s how they can do that:
Option 1 – Google Drive Method
- In Files, on your iPad, create a folder called “Keep” or whatever you’d like to call it.
- In photos, select the photos you want to save and then share them to “Files” in the “Keep folder” you created.
- In Files (in landscape mode), find anything in your district Google Drive that you want to keep and drag it into the “Keep folder” you created.
- In Files, find anything in your iCloud that you want to keep and drag it into the “Keep folder” you created. (Just like you did in step 3.)
- Close the Files app completely.
- Now go to Google Drive and sign in to your personal Google account.
- Open the Files app. Take the “Keep folder” and drag it into your personal Google account.
Option 2 – iCloud Method
- On your iPad make sure you are signed in with your district iCloud account.
- In Files, create a folder called “Keep” or whatever you’d like to call it.
- In Files, find anything in your district Google Drive that you want to keep and drag it into the “Keep folder” you created.
- In Files, drag the “Keep folder” into your iCloud.
- On a personal device, go to iCoud.com
- Sign in with your district account using your student email and password.
- Download the “Keep folder” (and any other items in iCloud that you need) onto your personal device.
