FAMILY OPEN HOUSE AT RHS!!
Crazy though it sounds, this pandemic has made it impossible for many of our families to ever even set foot inside our buildings or meet teachers face to face!!
Well… that has changed, finally!
PLEASE JOIN US HERE FOR AN EVENING OF GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER! WE WILL SHARE A SLIDE SHOW & HIGHLIGHTS FROM INTENSIVES AND OTHER GREAT INFO!

EDUCATOR APPRECIATION WEEK THIS WEEK
This week (May 2nd – May 6th) is Educator Appreciation Week and I want to encourage you, our students and families, to share an kind word or appreciation with our teachers!

I have never in my career seen a more challenging time to be a teacher… the pandemic has taken its toll not just on students, but on teachers too! And yet, day in and day out these dedicated folks show up and bring their creativity, their compassion and their full selves to the classroom in support of all our students!
There are TWO WAYS YOU CAN SHARE AN APPRECIATION! We are going to compile a poster of appreciation for every teacher here at RHS… you can help:
- Write a kind note (even just a sentence or two will make a difference) to a teacher or two who have made a difference in the life of your student(s). You can do that easily here on this Appreciation Form. We will collate the results and share these with each teacher! Please complete this form by 10:00 AM Thursday (5/5).
- Make a small donation… Along with each Teacher Appreciation Poster, we’d like to attach 1 or 2 $10 “Downtown Bucks” gift cards allowing teachers to support local businesses and enjoy a treat from our families at the same time. If you would like to donate $5 or $10 to this cause, you can do so here. Any leftover money will be donated to the FAN program that supports local students and families in need.

INTENSIVES ARE UNDERWAY AT RHS!
Yahoo – Intensives are off and running, and we have a TON of awesome learning, adventuring, creating, cooking, experimenting and LEARNING happening both on and off campus this week!
Here is a teaser from Day 1!

INTENSIVES – ROUND 2!!!
This round of Intensives includes:
- Rock Climbing, Culinary, Water Sports & Safety,, Mountain Biking, Mock Trial, Lifetime Sports, Fermentation, Cinema & Film, Game Play & Design, Trails and Conservation
The average cost PER STUDENT for one year of Intensives (2 rounds) is between $80 – $120.
If 75% of RHS families make the suggested $125 donation, we will be a LONG way to covering the costs of this programming. Of course, you can always contribute more in support of families/students who may not have the means to make a contribution at this time. Click Here to Contribute.
PS – no student will EVER be denied the right to participate… this is a donation, NOT a fee!
