This and That:
Report Card SIW: This week, grade level teams will have time to calibrate scoring for report cards. We will be pulling together beforehand. Here is a link to the district report card guidelines (which are the same as last year). We will be going over these a little more on Wednesday.
Fire Drills: By this time of the school year, staff and students are strong with our fire drill systems. Between now and the end of the school year, we will not be sharing the exact time of a practice fire drill and may even try one during challenging times (recess, lunch, passing times, before school, etc…) in order to test our systems and learn where we need to improve. With that said, I will still let you know the day that a drill is happening (so you will know that it’s only a drill); so please be sure to let us know if there is a time that would be a particularly bad time for us to pull the alarm (i.e. SBAC testing, a special guest speaker, etc…)
To Do:
First Aid/ CPR: 15 of our staff members will be able to take first aid/ CPR from 2:15-6:15 on Wednesday, January 30th. Please let me know via email ASAP if you are interested. Participation will be first come, first served. (I will have confirmation about the times listed above in the next day or two.)
PTO Bingo Night: Mark your calendars for some fun at our PTO Bingo Night on Friday, February 8th. It’s totally optional for staff to attend, but the more the merrier, for sure!. Here is the link for the theme basket sign-ups. Please sign up ASAP and send the basket info home to your families if you haven’t done so already.
