This and That:
Staffing Updates:
- I am excited to announce that Anne Marie Cedros will be an SLPA assisting Julia with providing speech service to students next year.
- I will be making an official announcement about our two kindergarten hires a little later on Monday as I have a couple of details to finish up first.
- We are inching closer to our Wednesday specialist plan for next school year. More details soon.
- Classroom Movement Plan: Here is a link to the classroom movement plan. Please be sure to let me know what information you need to know that is missing. I will be sure to add it.
2019-2020 ICCL Openings: We will have some ICCL openings for next school year. Please follow this link or see me for more information. I will post a link to the application here when I have it (I can’t find one right now). Here is a link to the recommendation form which is part of the application process as well. I plan to have these positions hired by May 31st.
Field Day: Mark your calendar for field day on Tuesday, June 11. More details soon.
End of the Year Party: Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 30th for our staff end of the year party. Here is a link for more information. I am hoping for a BIG turnout to celebrate our year together.
To Do:
Certified Evaluations: I will be sending evaluation information via email on Sunday evening. Please be aware of the quick turn around time for the self-evaluations (Due Friday, May 24) and be sure to plan some time in the next week to complete it.
Volunteer Appreciation: If you haven’t done so already, add your parent volunteer names to the google doc ASAP. Don’t forget the volunteers who have chaperoned field trips, helped out with an art project, etc. – this isn’t just for weekly volunteers. Also, please let me know if you are planning (or willing to plan) some kind of project to support the event: decorations, a song, thank you notes, etc….
