This and That:
Staffing Updates:
- I was introduced to our new head custodian, Walt Angle, this week. Walt has been at Pacific Crest Middle School for the past couple of years. Please give Walt a warm welcome when you meet him this summer. Still no word on our night time position.
- We will be interviewing for Music, Art, and our EA position on Tuesday, June 18th.
Schedule Changes/ Reminders: Wednesday will be a full day schedule with a 3:30 dismissal. Friday will be a 2:00 dismissal. We will run our Friday specialist schedule on Wednesday. There will be an all school recess from 10:30-10:50 on Friday in lieu of the specialist rotation.
Stuck on the Wall: Kelle will be taped to the wall on Wednesday morning (they will start around 9:15). There will be a group of 30 students (15 top readers, 15 top earners from the read-a-thon) that will tape me to the wall in the middle hallway with Jess and Frank’s support. We will let you know when it is complete so you can walk your class by. More details soon.
Eagle Spirit Assembly: Our final Eagle Spirit Assembly of the year will be at 9:15 on Friday. The location will outside on A/B playground. Immediately following the assembly, we will have a procession for our 5th graders. See Jessica’s email regarding logistics of the 5th grade procession. We will be giving awards for Responsibility. Please complete attached link for awards and let parents know.
To Do:
Certified Evaluations: Specialists… if you haven’t already met with Frank or me AND you don’t have a meeting scheduled this week, please be sure to connect with us today to schedule a meeting for this week.
Moving: Label, label, label everything. Truly… let no box or furniture go unlabeled if you want it to end up in your room.
Report Cards: Due printed and stuffed no later than Monday, June 17th, at 4:00.
19-20 Class Lists: Please be sure your team feels confident-ish about the class lists before you check-out for the summer. Here is the link.
Check-Out: When you have all the necessary signatures on your check-out form, you will leave it with Sue. Just like the past few years, when this is completed you are off for the summer! (Friday, Monday, or later if you talk with Frank and Kelle)
