This and That:
Staffing: Some of you may have gotten to meet Vanessa Chisum (our new Student Success Educational Assistant) last week. Her office is located in our ERC with Sara and Anna. Please drop by and give Vanessa a warm welcome. Also, Kathy Woodford will be back from her leave this Wednesday. Please be sure to say a big thank you to Sedonia on Tuesday.
Safe Touch Training: Tim Burdsall has graciously agreed to host a Safe Touch training for the district. Those of you needing training, or just need a refresher, please join Tim at North Star from 2:00 – 3:30 on Wednesday, February 24th.
Dreambox Growth Data: One cool report in Dreambox shows the amount of growth for students that participate at different levels. For Elk Meadow so far this year:
•The kids that are doing between 2 and 5 lessons a week have made .46 gain (almost half a year)
•The kids that are doing 5 or more lessons a week have made .80 gain (almost a year!!)

- Keep a watch out for an email from Jessica with directions and a link to update your sub folder. The updated document includes our building level COVID protocols. A huge thank you to Jess and the staff that provided suggestions on the drafts. Please make this a priority as the need for a substitute could surprise any of us at any time and the safety protocols are much more important and detailed than in past years.
- Keep a watch out for an email from Frank with a change of directions to our contact tracing procedures.
