Conferences Update: Thanks to feedback from some of you, the district decided that conferences will officially be via WebEx/ Telephone. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
GOPDR and Make A Plan Behavioral Supports: Here is a short video about how to use a couple of behavioral supports with students. GOPDR is meant to be co-used between an adult and a student (NOT just a worksheet for a student to complete). Make a plan has a lot of different utility options and it’s handy to have a pad of these around.
COVID/ Safety Related Information:
Questions/Concerns about COVID-19 related matters?: Please follow this flowchart. If in doubt about what to do, you can always check with Frank or Kelle. Frank is our Safety Team Lead, and Ann Hollenberg is our School Nurse. You can find our School Safety Checklist here. And here is a link to our COVID anonymous safety concerns form.
Masks for Students: Please help your students to remember to keep their mask up over the nose. If you have students with a mask that does not fit them well, we have masks in the office that we can try on a student instead.
Quarantine Recommendations Update (From Tami Pike): Quarantine recommendations do not apply to individuals arriving to Oregon from other states or countries or Oregon residents returning from other states or countries if:
- They have received both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine (or one dose of a single-dose vaccine if it becomes available),
AND - It has been at least 14 days since their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine,
AND - They have no COVID-19 symptoms.
- Individuals should still monitor themselves for COVID-19 symptoms during the 14 days after travel and, if symptoms develop, they should self-isolate and seek testing
