This and That:
Staffing: A couple of updates: Interviews will be on Wednesday for our open kindergarten positions!! I got a preview of our Title 1 funding and it looks just as I was expecting… we are losing the equivalent of about .2 FTE. We will continue to move forward with developing new ways to support our students with Tier 3 math needs. I also plan to post the .1 art position this week (any position less than .5 is considered temporary and has to be rehired each year).

Online Wonders Teacher Guide Access: For those of you who are changing grade levels next year and want to have access to your new teacher guides but don’t want to lug them around, here is a solution: you can access the trial login for the summer (this access to all grade levels). Classroom Teacher Mini Observation Sign-Ups: I would like for all grade 4 and 5 teachers (and any other classroom teachers who still need to be observed) to sign-up for a deeper learning mini observation for this coming week here.
Certified Evaluations: I will be sending evaluation information via email early in the week. Please be aware of the quick turn around time for the self-evaluations (Due Wednesday, May 22) and be sure to plan some time in the next 10 days to complete it.
Volunteer Appreciation: If you haven’t done so already, add your parent volunteer names to the google doc ASAP. Don’t forget the volunteers who have chaperoned field trips, helped out with an art project, etc. – this isn’t just for weekly volunteers. Also, please let me know if you are planning (or willing to plan) some kind of project to support the event: decorations, a song, thank you notes, etc….
