Staffing Updates:
- I am hoping to be able to share the concept for our Wednesday specialists for next year during our SIW time this week.
- I will be posting a five hour educational assistant position this week. This position will simply be making some temporary hours regular (not additional EA hours).
2019-2020 ICCL Openings: Last call for ICCL openings. All interested applicants should have all materials completed and sent to Human Resources by this Friday. Please see last newsletter for links to recommendation form and a job description. Below are application directions. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Application Process:
Please submit originals to HR and a copy to your site administrator:
- Short essay describing your teaching philosophy, why you’re interested in the position and why you are a highly qualified candidate for the position.
- Confidential Recommendation Form from a colleague at your site; submitted to HR in a sealed envelope.
End of the Year Party: Don’t forget this coming Thursday is our End of the Year party. Here is a link for more information. I would love to see a BIG turnout to celebrate our year together. (PS… families are invited!!)
To Do:
Certified Evaluations: If you have not yet completed your self evaluation (due last Friday), please have it completed in the next 24 hours (or talk with me). Additionally, if you are a classroom teacher who has not yet signed up for your evaluation time, stop what you are doing and sign up now (evaluation meetings start this Friday)… I will start assigning times for those that are missing on Wednesday.
19-20 Class Lists: The first draft of class lists for all grades (except next year’s kindergarten) is complete. Please take a look at the lists and make suggestions to the placing grade level for tweaks to shore-up the balance between classes. Please send any official changes to April. Here is the link.

- Tuesday: Lockdown drill in the AM (please let Sue and/or Frank know about your state testing times and we will adjust the time accordingly)
- Wednesday: ICCL Meeting (short), Site Council
- Thursday: DIBELS Day, Grade Level Team Meetings, Staff End of the Year Party
- Friday: Art Team Meeting, DIBELS make-up: no RE & ME
