Progress Report (Report Card) Presentation

Building ICCLs and administrators received training on the new progress reports this week. They will be rolling out the information to their buildings soon. Here is the presentation with video links on each slide to explain the new progress reports, especially in regard to literacy priority standards in case you want a sneak peek.

Literacy Happenings

Expeditionary Learning required texts in audible format
We are beginning a project to get all the required texts from EL in audible format for the limited number of students who need these. The goal is to have the text visible while a Bend LaPine teacher reads it. Also for students to be able to refer back to individual pages to relisten as needed in your lessons. It is a complicated project and will take some time to work out the kinks and make them easily accessible to students.

More information to come as these are completed.

Social Emotional & Mental Well-Being

Wayfinder has some activities that you could use for academic alignment.  Try putting “science” in the search button in activities or if you want to get more specific you could try “schools around the world” and find some activities that match that.  The activity library is always growing so if you don’t find something specific try back.

This document will link EL to lessons that can be taught in Wayfinder.  There are also collections that will give you resources you can use throughout the day or during your community connection time.
