This and That:

SIW: This Wednesday will be a “C” week for our specialist schedule. Our SIW time will be an
Educator Network Day. **Follow this link to see where you will be meeting.**

Monday Staff Meeting Agenda: This is an important UKG training for all staff. This is where you will learn how to request leave (not on paper anymore) and complete timesheets. UKG is scheduled to go live during the first week of December (December 5).

Focus on Excellence and Equity:

TLC Update: Here is a link to the 11/9 TLC Update. The update for this week includes lots of information, including:

  • Nov. 16th Elementary Educator Network Day schedule and locations
  • Information if you are ready to start using Playgrounds as an assessment tool with Really Great Reading
  • Free math manipulatives available
  • Harmony lessons focused on teaching self-regulation and calming strategies to students
  • Dance, Yoga, and Brain Break videos to get students moving
  • And more!

COVID & Safety Related Information:

EME Safety Concern Form: Link here. You can use this form to report any safety concerns – big or small. Please use this form or talk directly with Frank or Kelle.

To Do:

Parent Volunteers: Before a volunteer can begin, you will need to get official confirmation from Cindy or Chris that the parent has passed the background check. Once they say yes, you will need to add them to this weekly google document letting us know who to expect each day.

Important Dates:

  • Monday: Secure Drill (FOR REAL this time!), Staff Meeting= UKG Training (This is important training for ALL BLS staff)
  • Tuesday: Forest Kindergarten
  • Wednesday: Grades 4 & 5 EBISS, SIW= Educator Network (more details here), EME Happy Hour @ Cabin South,
  • Thursday: Vision screening K-5 (FOR REAL this time!)
  • Friday: College and Career Day (Students are invited to dress up for their dream job or in their favorite college colors), Grade 2 Field Trip to High Desert Museum
