Principal’s Hello

Dear Golden Eagle Families,

We had a ton of fun this week with our parents who came in for Career Fair. What a great group of caring adults! There was a doctor, engineer, pilot, photographer, designer, and many more. We’re lucky to partner with our parents to bridge the learning at school to real life!

This week please help your student turn in all missing work. I want to really stress getting it done–all classes buttoned up before break. If not, your student will have homework to do, which could disrupt your family vacay.

Let’s work as a team to make sure our kids get their stuff done and really enjoy their break. Thank you!

8th Grade STEM Fair 

  • Date: Thursday, March 20th
  • Time: 6:00 PM-7:30 PM (drop in when it is convenient)
  • Where: PCMS, 8th Grade Hall upstairs

Eighth grade students are invited to share their culminating science or engineering project with PCMS students and family members. Ms. Crabtree, Ms. Kraybill, and Mr. Segesta have collaborated to create this event. Our hope is that this fair brings an opportunity for students to be enthusiastic about learning, and for them to share their work with the community, and to strengthen the STEM presence in Bend.

Battle of the Books Team Places at Regionals

Congratulations to The Pancake People on their impressive 4th-place finish in a highly competitive field of 22 teams at Regionals Battle of the Books. Their hard work and dedication this season has been amazing.  You showcased both skill and outstanding sportsmanship on Saturday while having fun!
