Principal’s Hello

Dear Golden Eagle Families,

This week we’re finishing state tests in math classes. We will show you your student’s scores once they become available. As you may remember, we wanted to include the state test on the report cards, but we are unable to do that (unfortunately).

Please review the state test score with your student. It’s a great conversation starter about their academic engagement, self-identity as a scholar, and potential pathways for the future.

Our 8th graders enjoyed a planetarium show today in science class, and our 7th graders began the (very popular) skateboarding unit in PE.

We keep trucking along here as a staff and embrace all the possibilities that dwell within a three-day weekend. Enjoy it!

Summer Meals for Kids & Teens

Beyond Planet Earth

Today the Sunriver Nature Center brought their Star Dome Planetarium Experience to PCMS. All 8th grade students visited the dome during their science class. Students were able to see images of our Solar System and the Milky Way. PCMS would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to the Bend-La Pine Education Foundation for funding this memorable experience!

End of the Year Volunteer Opportunities

To ensure and safe and successful last several days of the school year, we are inviting parents and guardians to sign-up for the following end-of-the-year events. Summit High School Water Polo

Summit High School has a girls and boys water polo team as a fall sport.  Incoming 9th graders who are interested are invited to an informational meeting on Wednesday, June 4 at 5:15 PM at Juniper Swim and Fitness Center that will provide info about the teams. Click here for flyer.
