Student Conference Data

I have been working with IT on some counselor data reports to access our student conference data easier. We will need this data for our results reports at the end of the year and I will be sharing with level leads and our level administrators very soon. The main thing that is missing in a lot of our data is identifying the domain (service type). Please make sure that you are selecting BOTH a DESCRIPTION and a SERVICE TYPE when you are entering your individual conference data. Click here for specific instructions, but see below for a quick picture:

Service Type

Descriptoin

You do not need to go back and fix what you already entered! However, moving forward, please try to remember to select a DESCRIPTION and SERVICE Type. It will give us a better picture of how our time is spent with students.

This data is not only important for school counseling programming, but administrators at both the district and site level are accessing it when looking at higher level of supports with specific students. We appreciate you inputting your contacts and know that the data we can pull from our work will ultimately benefit students, school counseling program planning and the district as whole. THANK YOU!

COCC’s Office of High School Partnerships (OHSP)

From Krissa Harris

As we move in to the New Year, we are excited to introduce the launch of COCC’s Office of High School Partnerships (OHSP). This office reflects a reorganization of the College Now program and other existing high school partnership programs. The goal for this office is to provide strategy, infrastructure, and support for COCC’s high school partnerships with a focus on accelerated learning opportunities. Our hope is that by centralizing efforts and resources around accelerated learning, COCC will be better able to support and expand opportunities for our K12 partners. As COCC’s OHSP continues to develop, additional information will be shared, including information on key initiatives and services provided. Below please find information regarding the OHSP team and an important note regarding recruitment and outreach work.

OHSP Team

Please note, all recruitment and outreach efforts will continue to be managed by COCC’s Recruitment and Outreach team. This includes high school visits, admissions support, COCC campus visits, Preview Day and other events.
