COCC Updates from Erika Carmen

Hi counseling teams,

We hope everyone enjoyed the winter break! January 19th is an important deadline for both Concurrent Enrollment/Expanded Options students as well as College Now students. Please see below for details.

College Now

  • January 19, 5pm: College Now Registration and Drop Deadline
    • The last day for students to register into a College Now course for semester 1 or trimester 2 College Now course as well as drop the course if they are already registered is Friday, January 19. If students are already registered and have a D or F, please encourage them to consider dropping the course via COCC’s College Now drop form to protect their transcript and future financial aid. College Now high school instructors have received this reminder last week.

Concurrent Enrollment/Expanded Options

  • January 19, 5pm: COCC’s first winter term drop deadline
  • If students drop by Friday, January 19, your school district won’t be responsible for paying their tuition/fees.
  • Students won’t have a “W” on their transcript and won’t face any future financial aid impacts
  • 1/19 is also the deadline for COCC to receive any Expanded Options Authorization forms. If you haven’t already sent them, please email the forms to [email protected].
