Good morning Golden Eagles and families!

We are looking forward to beginning Week 2 with all of you back in the building. Thank you all for working hard to continue to practice all of the COVID protocols that we have in place. As we move into our second week together, take extra care to think about social distancing when you are moving between classes. This seems to be the area of most difficulty at this time for students. Social Distancing means that walking with friends is different than it was in the past. Remember, we are only able to stay in school when we are all being vigilant about our safety practices. It takes all of us and while we will continue to get better each day you all did an excellent job during Week One. Thank you for your hard work!

Inclement Weather and Moving in and out of Hybrid Instruction: This document outlines the expectations for students in District CDL, CDL related to quarantine, Hybrid, and All In models.  It is also important to remember that schools might be in one or more model(s) at a time or they may move in and out of a model. For example, most of a school could be in Hybrid but one class could be participating in CDL because of quarantine. Weather Expectations. 

Additionally, for the next few months, we can depend on Central Oregon sending us a variety of weather conditions. It remains important that students dress for the weather as they will be outside for a portion of each day during lunch.

Area Change Request (ACR) Deadlines: These are quickly approaching and there is now an electronic form that parents can use for ACRs. Families can find this information HERE. This year all families will need to complete a new form as boundaries for the new HS will be in effect. ALL FORMS ARE DUE TO HOME SCHOOLS BY MARCH 1st

Student & Staff Photo Days (Feb. 25 & 26): ALL  PCMS HYBRID STUDENTS WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHED ON THESE TWO DAYS. SEE NOTE BELOW FOR CDL & BLPO STUDENTS.

  • You have the ability to order pictures online by visiting dorianstudio.com and searching for your school’s name.
  • Your online order can be placed before and up to four (4) days after picture day.
  • After the 4-day grace period expires, a personalized access key will be sent home with picture delivery.
  • A $7 shipping and handling fee will be added to all orders made with a personalized access key and orders will ship directly to your home.

Note to District CDL and Bend La Pine Online Students: If your student is in the District CDL program or the Bend La Pine Online program, they are welcome to attend a drive thru picture day at PCMS on Thursday, February, 25 from 9:30 – 10:00 am OR Friday, February 26 from 9:30 – 10:00, but you MUST complete this form to sign them up no later than 5:00 on Tuesday, February 24.
