Hi Everyone,

I hope your Monday is going well. When I got in my car this morning it made me laugh to find my air conditioning on full blast from last Thursday-I guess I haven’t been in the car since then as I biked on Friday and stayed home this weekend. This morning definitely called for high-temp defrost on full blast. Please be safe out there as it looks like we have at least one week of silly spring weather ahead!

This Wednesday, we will have our standard North-Star-based team meetings with elementary at 9:30 and secondary at 10:30. We will not have an all-staff afternoon meeting. However, our North-Star based team will be meeting next week on the 20th from 12:30-2:30 so make sure to block that out on your calendars.

An FYI for everyone: Our brinck-and-mortar schools are released for conferencing this week. Elementary students are NOT in class this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Middle Schoolers are out Thursday and Friday, and all students are out Friday. Our full-time online elementary teachers will be holding class on these days as they conferenced in February.

Some of you may have already seen the article I have linked here, I recently came across it again and thought that it was worth sharing…both for work now and what we might do in the future. Please take a few minutes to read it, and consider if some of these engagement strategies might impact the work you do with your students.
