Hi Everyone,
In addition to being Mother’s Day this weekend, Aaron and I also celebrated our anniversary on Saturday. He reminded me that on our wedding day, it was sunny, snowy, windy, and the temperature swung from about 28 in the morning to upper 60’s mid day. We picked an early-May date because he wanted his out of town friends to be able to experience Bend-getting in skiing, biking and some rafting. And it happened. For those that partake of any of those activities, or others…I hope you were able to enjoy the weekend because almost anything was possible.
No formal meetings this week on Wednesday. We will check in as needed on Wednesday, and I look forward to seeing our North-Star based staff then.
As of today, Seniors have 10 days left to complete classes. Those on pace should be at least 87% complete. 6th-11th graders have 24 days remaining and those on pace should be at least 65% complete.
For seniors who need extensions, (this was discussed at our OSSM meeting last week), Please don’t extend any classes until the 18th or 19th (after next week’s report runs). Then, you can only extend to May 27th. Chris will be able to see this new deadline on the report that comes on Wednesday, May 25th, and know which students to watch. You do not need to reach out to her about those extended deadlines.
