We made it! Or…almost. Thank you everyone for your work, friendship and stamina this year. I hope you all have a wonderful summer.
In online, our end of year checklists are relatively simple:
- If you are not returning to North Star in the fall, please turn your keys in to Chris before you leave the site.
- Everyone who is returning to North Star, please make sure you clean up your space before you leave for summer. Put everything you can on the carpeted areas in your rooms, including stacked chairs. Maintenance has asked that we clear as much floor space as possible. All of your electronics also need to be unplugged.
- OSSM team-make sure to check with your building to see what you need to do to get your space ready for summer.
Congratulations to Greg Oliver! He will be moving over to Mountain View next year as the OSSM for that site. We will be posting a 6 hour position for REALMS. If you know anyone who is interested, please send them my way.
NSE Team-Carbs and fruit at North Star on Wednesday at 8:30! I know that many of you have other things going on that day with graduation drive through’s, lunches and other events…if you could make it over for even 30 minutes at the start of the day that would be awesome.

- Enrollment sheets for Fall 2022 will open on August 8th
- Chris/Amy in office as of August 8th
- Tanya/Michelle in office as of August 22nd (possibly the week before)
- 1st day for Certified Teachers is Tuesday, August 30th. This is a district training day (“Day 189”) unless you meet that requirement prior to this day.
- BLSO North-Star based staff “Welcome Back” meeting in the morning on Wednesday, August 31st
- OSSM ‘Welcome Back” meeting at North Star in the morning on Thursday, September 1st
- September 7th: First day of school for K-9
- September 8th: First day of school for 10, 11, 12
