Happy New Year Y’all, it’s 2024!
I hope you had an amazing break and great family-filled holidays! I am so excited to be returning to school after being away for 8 weeks and can’t wait to reconnect with everyone. The few visits I made in December really filled my bucket and helped me to keep working hard on my recovery. Thanks for your patience while I was away and for keepings things running so smoothly, I am beyond appreciative!

As I shared with you in the last few days Patti will be out for a few weeks to be with Jeff. Kelli will be holding down the fort for us for the time being. In the meantime, let’s continue to keep Patti and Jeff in our hearts! I’ll update you as I get new information.

A few notes to get 2024 rolling:
1) The Theme for January is Responsibility and Integrity!

2) SIW this week is in house. We’ll use this time to reconnect, reflect on things that are working and things that may not, and do some planning for the coming months. I’m excited to have this time!

3) New Buddies: 3/5, K/1, 2/4

4) I have an admin meeting on Tuesday and will have to leave around 2:45pm. Yup, on my first day back!

5) Save the date–Variety Show! February 28th…

Hello All!
It was so good to sneak in a few visits last week and to see the kiddos and all of you! I’ll be in a few times this week as well and look forward to seeing you. Just 5 more days before a few weeks of vacation!

A few notes for this week:
1) Special FOA sponsored lunch on Monday from Nancy P’s! Taco Bar on Thursday…

2) Meetings this week:
*Tuesday is Team Collaboration Time– a good time to look towards your collaboration in the new year
*Wednesday SIW is the QPR training from 1:30-3pm. Brian’s room.  Special note: the training is a sensitive topic and can be sensitive in nature. If anyone has recently been impacted by an emotional event please reach out to me so we can talk through the options. Text or call me!

3) Cafe Amity on Wednesday hosted by Grade 1

4) Fire Drill on Tuesday at 9:25.

5) Running club on Friday

Hello Everyone!
I hope you had a great weekend! I had intended to stop by last Wednesday to see you all, enjoy Cafe Amity, and see the Kinders Community Time; however, my chauffeur (aka my wife) fell ill. I will definitely be stopping by this week–I miss you and the kiddos way too much not to visit this week!

A few notes for this week:
1) As you have all heard by now, Brad will covering until Winter Break–yahoo!

2) No meeting this Tuesday. Brian and Sara have a district ICCL meeting

3) SIW this week is a Teacher Work Day–enjoy the time!
